Radha Kund

The holiest Pond, Radha Kund is situated near Govardhan hill in Vrindavan of Mathura. There are two adjoining ponds - the Radha Kund and Krishna Kund. The Lord Shri Krishna himself created a large Kund by hitting his heel on the ground. Epic stated, when Lord Krishna was too young and his maternal uncle Mama king Kans was repeatedly tried to kill him. One of such attempt on his and his brother Balram life; was when Lord Krishna Mama Kans sent a demon, the name Arishta, who assumed the form of a Bull and attacked the Lord Shri Krishna and Balrama.


Potra Kund

Potra kund is one of the popular tourist destination as it has got immense mythological value.It is said that Mata Devki used to wash garments of Lord Krishna here.Devotees wishes to take a dip in this holy water of kund. The kund is built in res sandstone and the Holy water pond has got deep steps decend deep to the pond.


Kusum Sarovar

Kusum Sarovar is one of the most revered and visited tourist places of Mathura. It is a sacred water reservoir with an imposing edifice in the backdrop that entices everyone. Kusum Sarovar is one of the key elements in the rich mythology surrounding Lord Krishna and Radha Rani. It is well known that the great Vaishnava saint, Shri Chaitnaya Mahaprabhu used to visit this sarovar during his time in Vrindavan.


Brahma Kund

This kund lies a little towards the south-west of Gyan Gudadi in Vrindavan. Bhagvati Yogmaya Paurnamasi gave Mahadev Shankar the form of a gopi by dipping him in this kund. Shri Vrinda Devi also gave Narad the form of Naradi Gopi by bathing him here, thus fulfilling his desire to take darshan of maha-rasa, which is very difficult to obtain. There is an ashok tree on the northern side of this Brahma kund


Shyam Kund

Radha Kund and Shyam kund are two pious ponds situated in a village named Arita near Govardhan hill. 3 miles away in the northeast of Govardhan hill these two kunds are considered as the most sacred place for the Vaishnavas. Believed to be eyes of Govardhan hill, this place has witnessed many sweet pastimes of Lord Krishna and Radha.
